Star Search Is Back: Take the LASHCON Main Stage
Have something the lash industry needs to hear?
Star Search is back for LASHCON 2026, giving fresh voices, powerful ideas, and future industry speakers the opportunity to step onto the main stage. Last year, the response was incredible. So many talented lash artists wanted their moment on the mic that we could not fit everyone into the schedule.
This year, we are changing the process so every selected speaker receives the time and attention their idea deserves.

What Is Star Search?
Star Search is LASHCON’s search for the next voices shaping the lash industry. We will select 15 finalists before LASHCON. Each finalist will deliver a three minute speech live on the LASHCON 2026 main stage alongside our featured speakers.
Star Search will take place during Saturday’s programming. With no breakout sessions happening that day, all eyes will be on one stage. Just you, your idea, and the LASHCON audience.
Two Winners Will Become Featured 2027 LASHCON Speakers
After all 15 finalists present, two winners will be selected. Those winners will return as official featured speakers at LASHCON 2027, where they will develop their three minute ideas into full LASHCON presentations.
Star Search is about more than one exciting moment on stage. It is an opportunity to develop your voice, strengthen your message, and share your expertise with the industry on a much larger level.
Winners should be prepared to collaborate with the LASHCON team over the following year to develop and help promote their presentations. Please apply only if you can commit at least one hour per month to the process.
What Are We Looking For?
We want fresh voices, original perspectives, useful education, and ideas that leave the audience with something they can apply.
Your speech could share a lash technique, business strategy, client experience tip, industry insight, creative concept, personal lesson, or piece of life wisdom.
Your topic can be emotional, inspiring, or rooted in your personal experience, but it must also provide a clear takeaway.
We generally do not select talks that are purely motivational. Even the most powerful story should teach the audience something, introduce a useful tool, offer a new perspective, or help them take meaningful action.
Who Can Apply?
Anyone can apply for Star Search! You do not need to be a professional speaker, educator, influencer, or industry celebrity. You also do not need to currently hold a LASHCON ticket to submit an application.
However, anyone selected as a finalist must purchase a valid LASHCON attendee ticket and attend LASHCON 2026 in person to participate. You simply need something valuable to share and the ability to communicate it clearly.
How Will Finalists Be Selected?
Applications will be judged based on charisma, content, originality, creativity, and delivery. We are not looking for perfect production or years of speaking experience. We want to see your personality, your message, and your potential.
A large following is not required. A strong idea and a memorable delivery could earn you a place on the main stage.
How to Apply
Complete the short Star Search application with your name, Instagram handle, biography, and proposed topic.
You will also upload a 30 second video pitch explaining what you want to share and why the LASHCON audience needs to hear it. Your video does not need professional lighting, editing, or equipment. Speak directly to the camera and show us your personality, clarity, and passion for your idea.
Applications Close Thursday, July 30
Your three minutes could become the beginning of something much bigger.
Do not wait until you feel perfectly ready. If you have an idea that could educate, challenge, or move the lash industry forward, this is your opportunity to share it.
Apply now for your chance to take the LASHCON 2026 main stage.
